That is an overall equipment improvement having nothing to do with being 10 or 11.

There are 10 speed Teflon coated chains? If not you're wrong, a difference is a difference, does not matter exactly what the difference is. Especially if it changes the life of the chain.

It sounds like the wear you would get if you replaced it when a chain checker device says it is worn out.

I don't know. I usually get at least twice that much, keeping the chain clean and not lugging it all of the time but going with normal to higher rpm riding. Ok, I'll say it: I also ride Campy :)

Yes. I purchased several of them.

I think the OP question was one of structure and dimensions. They are pretty much the same chains with most wear coming from pins and rollers. They are the same diameter pins. So really nothing here to cause more wear. What some new chains do is allow better cross chaining. That is not 11 vs 10 - just how the pin/roller/side plates are put together. Sure being a fraction narrower helps, but that is a minor part of it.

Do you have a link? How do you like them? I've been using Ultegra level. Sounds like I should try a Teflon coated one.

I used to use the (I think) IRC Black Lightning - but can't find a link to it, so not sure if that was the name.
Here is a review of the Taya Deca https://www.bikerumor.com/2011/01/18...-speed-chains/

I wonder if they make Shimano's chains.
