pinch bolts
i'm looking for replacements for my current pinch bolts- the ones that connect the handlebar to the stem. are these bolts pretty much standard on all road bikes with respect to specific dimensions? can i get these at a local home depot or from an online merchant? totally clueless here. tia!

Yeah, it's a standard bolt. I can never figure out what will or won't be available at Home Depot. I couldn't get Tee nuts there to make a fork mount board for my daughter's mini-van. Once you say the Metric word, their service people get all glassy eyed. Fortunately, I still have an old fashioned hardware store near my home.
If you still have a bolt to copy, take it with you because it makes it easier to match the diameter and thread. I always step up and get stainless ones because they don't form rust in the allen sockets.
