Well, 520s are on backorder now. So probably won't get one now.

My LBS which is always the highest for anything sells Garmin products at MSRP because they told me they had to. Believe me, if they could mark Garmin products up, they would. So, not only do Garmin prices seem to be protected on the low side but evidently on the high side, too.

Dremel tool delivered. Bearings for my gearbox. Replacement Spur gear. I'm all ready to do some RC tech tonight, lord help me.

Gotta pick up some discs for disc golf.

I think I was supposed to get an oil change and a hair cut somewhere in there, but gotta keep the priorities right.

I've never seen a deal on SRAM, ever. I figure it was because they were a US company.

I tried to order a gamin watch internationally a while back, but no dice then either.

Bad news about SIDI. Ribble is where I got my MTB shoes cheap after paying full price locally for the road versions.

Gonna see if performance bike has some discounted SIDI roadies.

Yeah, SIDI was the first one I ran across. I did get a pair of Genius 7 road shoes at a great price from "Always Riding" in the UK. Not sure if SIDI just hasn't caught up with them or what. Don't know if they have mountain bike shoes or just road. Edit, looks like they have limited mtn bike shoes.

Up until last fall, you could get good deals on SRAM from all the UK shops but no more.

If you know your size, check Western Bikeworks, they had some on sale last week.

First off, I'm a huge Sagan fan and I want to make that perfectly clear. But...

He missed the crucial split and then had to take chances to get to the lead group and one of those chances was to try to ride the leeward gutter.

He had a whole road to ride in and he took a chance and lost. Cycling fans have been causing wrecks for decades and he is well aware of it, I'm sure.

That was tongue in cheek. There was a discussion, possibly in another thread. I'm also a big fan, and have no doubt Gilbert would have been caught. But destiny thought otherwise.

CC is in the last day of a Sidi sale, I think.

I was rummaging around in a box this afternoon for a triple front derailleur. I mention this because I polished it with my Dremel tool before installing. :thumb:

Yeah, I knew where you were going with it. I was just piling on for the sake of that "Z" guy. ;)

Must be a recent development. I purchased a 520 and Varia radar in December from them. So SIDI, SRAM and Garmin have jumped on the no sales to US bandwagon. Bummer.

Trade barriers. Soon you will be completely isolated. No more avocados even.

That's OK, not a big guacamole fan.

Do we cut it or tear it? We never got a definitive answer.

seedsbelize 04-03-17 03:17 PM

A poll might be in order.

seedsbelize 04-03-17 03:19 PM

I picked up 3 ripe avocados, this morning, for guacamole that never happened. Chips too!
Later

It was claimed that there's no difference, but I've still not seen the science.

Would be a good question for Mythbusters (if that's still a thing).

Using mine strictly to cut / potentially destroy things :D

One of my patients did that run. Stuff happens, sadly.
