Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nothing wrong with cleaning up a part, or even polishing it before installation. Actually, that's the way it should be.

Given that it was posted in July, I think it's a safe bet it was in response to numerous TDF spoilers.

Destiny: I went out a different way today, to avoid a stop sign. I swerved to miss a divot in the street and hit a largish stone dead on. Pinch flat. Walked the two blocks back home and, before I got the tube out, heard thunder. The replacement tube didn't hold air and by the time I was installing the next one it was raining cats and dogs. I reluctantly threw in the towel.
I might be cranky tomorrow as a result.

Tried the tennis ball against the wall thing again today. Did not hit myself in the face with the racquet. All in all successfull. Nice little workout. Good news is after 35 years my serve isn't any worse than it used to be. Bad news is my serve isn't any better than it used to be. I like fitting this in a rotation with cycling and walking. Very pleasant.
