Addiction LXV

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think you want tri bibs. Regular ones will hold too much water after the swim, or so I've been told. I didn't care to listen too much, but that was the complaint I keep hearing about it.

I can easily upload to Flickr from my iPhone or iPad using the Flickr app but cannot link to here from Flickr. I have to wait until I'm on a desktop or my laptop.

I can't attach files from my iPhone. I think it is because they are too big. After they sync to my iPad, I can attach them here is easily.

They must compress from the iPhone to the iPad.

I remember having to do that. It is a challenge

For anyone in range of Blue Bell ice cream distribution I can positively recommend the new Bride's Cake flavor as being well worth your time. It doesn't take much, but it sure is tasty!

And this is the tough part. Donning a tight jersey while wet.

No, that'd be on the run if anything. What happens is that most bike jerseys are not tight enough or made of stretchy enough material for swimming. Even tight-cut ones, because they're not as stretchy, catch water through the neck hole and (worst) those nice big cycling jersey back pockets, so you're tugging a drag chute through the water. And cycling jersey material doesn't seem to pass water through as well as swimsuit material.

Or... just run outta the water, hop on the bike, and go. The classic outfit was speedo for everything. Especially for a sprint, there shouldn't be any concern about sunburn or need to carry stuff.

Maybe text it to yourself, save it, then post. Texting downsizes them automatically.

A real full bladder or just one that always feels like it?

So you have to lie there for 35 minutes with a full bladder? Harsh.
