Tubular or Clincher?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sprinters are good- butyl tube so hold air well.

Running one of these now & have got them for as little as $35 shipped.

Based on the advertised price for the Corsa CXs, I wouldn't buy anything else. That is what I have been running and the ones I bought for $44 delivered were a replacement and an extra. I'm sold on them.

I don't use any tires other than MAxxis on my bikes. They're as solid and puncture proof as they come.. fast and smooth, love them. You can't go wrong with one of their tires. My Tubulars have the Campiones on them, (But obviously I haven't used those yet, lol)

$468 delivered. A little heavier than mine probably due to using slightly heavier hubs. Maybe the spokes aren't quite as light either. Their hubs are listed at 285g/pr. The ones I used were about 260 g/pr. Also their spokes aren't Sapim, so could be just a touch heavier. But overall a very good deal.
Thanks for the info!

There are two types of people shopping for tubulars right now:

1. Cyclocross racers

2. Idiots

So I'm wondering if you found your tubulars yet?

I like the vittoria cx front and Pave on the rear, they have great grip and last a long time

I use the CXs both front and rear, but beware the CXs at least will be disappearing. They have been replaced with a higher technology tire that right now costs a lot more.
