Picked up some Ebay 60mm carbon clinchers

Notices
Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

Picked up some Ebay 60mm carbon clinchers

$330 USD shipped, arrived from China in 4 days - they look like a firecrest copy with a U-shaped rim, 25mm wide at the brake track

Taking them on their maiden voyage today, I figure if they last 1 season then I can treat them as consumables

Prices have been dropping, huh? It's insane that you can get a carbon wheelset for that kinda money. Which seller did you buy from?

If they don't assplode in the first 200 or so miles, I'd say they'll last longer than a season. I have ~2k miles on my ebay carbon clinchers. I beat the crap outta them and they're still going strong.
