Someone Explain Coupons to me
From time to time, someone will post an announcement for a "coupon" for online stores like Nashbar or Performance.
What are these coupons? Where do I find them and how do I use them? Are these coupons already factored into sales prices?
It's not that I'm not going to give these stores all my money anyway. I'd just like to get a little more junk for it.
merci

A coupon is a discount that is applied during checkout at the online stores. The best ones(those that you see on sites like this) are available on all purchases. Other coupons are just on full retail price products.
So all you do is go shopping at the store, and in the first(or second) step in the checkout, you enter the code.
You will see your discount taken.

to answer the rest of your question, no it's not taken into account that you have a coupon when you see advertised prices, coupon's are additional amounts you can have off. The one's retailers often assume is MIR, or mail in rebates.
Generaly you have to hunt around for coupons, they're given out during promotional times, fylers, new letters, ads, or word of mouth, and are usualy specific to a certain time frame.

Anyone know if the performance bikes coupons can be used in their retail stores? Also they have a price match process that looks like an online viewable price is valid in the stores.
If so, I have found myself a bike
