Today's breakfast sponsored by @seedsbelize:
The wife and kids went to a berry farm and handpicked blackberries this week, so my wife made a birthday blackberry pie (her bday).

Well, Fernando came back with a bizarre tale. I was seen to dismount, lean my bike against a stone wall, and then collapse, abrading my elbow and shoulder, and ultimately hitting my head. A discussion ensued and I went on, against the pleas of those arond me. Ultimately, I came back, walking the bike, walked into town and hired the man who brought me home.

In the hammock recovering from a crash last evening. No memory of what happened. I remember being helped into a trici-taxi and brought home. Mrs.Seeds says I was very disoriented and she took me to the dr. A knot on my head, and road rash on elbow and shoulder. I remember telling him my neck was sore. Then this morning I noticed a bruise on my hip. The helmet is broken.
My friend, a local guy, just went over there to try and piece together what happened.

We're on the family fun circuit for the summer, doing day trips and checking things off the been-meaning-to-do list. Today we went to what's left of a little town that essentially got mothballed in the early 1900s and is now a MN Historical Society site with guides in costume and in character. Brought the camera, intending to only bring my 28mm (favorite FoV), but something felt off for the first few hurried shots, at which time I realized that I'd brought the 50mm (least favorite FoV) instead. I had to switch up my mindset, but still came away with some good photographs. Favorite so far is the boy learning how to use a drawknife with one of the guides -

@PepeM:
I can't quote your post from the dead thread, but if you want good cheap wheels at that price check out LightBicycle. I don't know how wide they get for road, but the ones I got for my MTB are amazingly bombproof.
