Anyone have a Focus Paralane? What do you think of it?
I'm looking at road endurance bikes with 32mm+ tire clearance and like the look of the Focus Paralane.
Seems to weigh around 8kg which is good for an endurance bike, but have the ability to run up to 35mm tires and handle "light" off-road use.
It's competitors (for similar usage, mostly road) would include Trek Domane, Specialized Roubaix (& maybe Diverge), Cannondale Synapse, GT Grade & BMC RoadMachine.
Does anyone have one, or has ridden one? I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on how it stacks up to the competetion.
Thanks!

I guess no-one has a Focus Paralane! I'll have to find one myself to test ride, and will report back.
I get the feeling we'll see more of this style of endurance bike that crosses over into the "all-road" category, without being categorised as a full-on gravel bike. The GT Grade is very similar. The Cannondale Synapse, Trek Domane and Specialized Roubaix are also close, with their 32mm tire clearance. The new Diverge goes even further with up to 42mm tires and 650B compatibility.

Test rode a Paralane yesterday - very impressed!
I commented on the comparision between the Focus Paralane and a Specialized Roubaix here: https://www.bikeforums.net/road-cycling/1115698-compared-focus-paralane-specialized-roubaix-expert-today.html
I thought the Paralane felt really good - lots of agility without feeling twitiching. A good complaint frame that seemed stiff when sprinting, and a comfortable ride with 28mm Schwalbe tires.
I need to try more endurance road-bikes to see where it really sits on the quality spectrum, but I was impressed.
