Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cambium C13 owners?

Hi. Last 6 months I've been riding a '17 Giant TCR on the stock saddle. It's been ok for sub 2 hour rides, but man it hurts on anything much longer than that. I've ridden a Fizik saddle in the past - but I have on my other bike (Specialized AWOL) a Brooks Cambium C17, which is the kind of all around saddle. It looks classy when paired with the cambium bar tape and I find it to be pretty comfortable for long rides, 4+ hours, but it is heavy and fairly wide, not ideal for fast group rides - for me anyway.

I'm curious about the narrow carbon version - the C13. Anyone have experience with that saddle for doing fast group ride hamer type stuff? And if anyone has experience of both the C17 and C13 I'd be interested to hear any comparisons. Thanks!
