Canyon disk brakes

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Canyon disk brakes

Thinking of treating myself to a Canyon with disk brakes.
But from what I can tell the wheels don't have quick release skewers.
Does anyone know if these can be added to the back wheel for the purpose of riding on my Turbo in the winter?

There are special thru axles you can install to allow use with a trainer. Keep in mind that Canyon claims using their bikes on a trainer voids the warranty.

When I bought my disc bike, I relegated my caliper bike to an indoor bike that lives on the Kickr all year round. It also serves as a hot spare in the event of a last minute mechanical.

As JoeJack says, there are special through-axles - check with the manufacturer of your trainer. The KK one is 49 bucks.
