I've had 2 wrecks that kept me off the bike for a considerable length of time. Once was for 12 weeks due to a broken neck + skull fracture, the other was for 7 weeks after being hit by a truck(9 broken ribs, clavicle, scapula, 2 fibula fractures, punctured/collapsed lung, 3 surgeries to repair torn intestines).
The first wreck kept me of the bike for 12 weeks, but upon return to riding I regained any lost fitness quickly. The second was far worse, required over 5 weeks of hospitalization, and caused a weight loss of 30 pounds. When I got back on the bike it was difficult to maintain 13mph on flat land. It took over a year to get back full strength.
You'll probably lose a little fitness, but return to full strength quickly

If you were fit at the beginning of the 6 weeks, you'll be back quickly. I have had several enforced breaks of 6 weeks or more over many years and only noticed it in the weight room (which comes back quick), never had an issue in endurance activities.
