Take a look at the Wahoo RFLK. It uses the phone for the calculations, the RFLK is just the (very customizable) display. Have to use Wahoo Fitness tho.

The paid version of Cyclemeter for iPhone suppports the RFLKT. In fact when I used a RFLKT (I have an ELEMNT now) I actually prefered it to the Wahoo Fitness, as you could display more fields on the RFLKT.

One thing about the RFLKT, a lot of people have issues with it. I'm not sure why, but if you're using Android I'd be wary. The RFLKT was always flawless for me (barring a bug in the firmware fixed in the first week I had it), but a lot of other people have issues.

Yeah, I never had any issue with it either, and I am still using it today.

Note 4, S6, S8, they all worked just fine.

Well, the Note 4 I had to run some of the sensors on ANT and some on BT. If I ran them all on BT it was too much load for the BT radio.

s6 and S8 have been flawless.

I like the look of the RFLKT, and it's just in my price range

I currently have the LG G4 though and as far as I can discern it doesn't have ANT+. I'm also thinking of changing to the LG G6 which also doesn't have ANT+.

I'd love a Samsung, but they are at least $300 more expensive for either the S7, S7 edge, S8, S8+ and I can't pay that :(

So either stick with the G4, and hope the new battery I bought works, and wait for the Samsungs to come down in price, or upgrade to the G6 and accept I won't have ANT+. :foo:

I guess I could try a OTG cable with a USB ANT reciever, has anyone had success with this?

THe Wahoo HR/speed/cadence sensors are BT and ANT, so you are good if you go "all Wahoo"
