I remember those days, a guy in my neighborhood had one. Early in the morning on my way to school I would find it turned over on it's side a couple times a week.

I don't buy it. CTE remains a mystery. We don't know it doesn't make you murderous, but we do know it messes up your brain. What it would do to my brain likely has little bearing on what it would do to your brain. Just as there is a fine line between pleasure and pain, I imagine there is also a fine line between murderous and suicidal feelings. Out of control.

+1

Peter Sagan, to keep it cycling related.
We don't have to keep it cycling related here. The less cycling chatter the better.

Perfect day for a ride. A friend and I did a short 22 mile ride: 36-38º, flurries with occasional snow showers, and a 12 mph NW wind.

I wore a balaclava. :thumb:

New team kit day lined up with new shoes/bartape/cables/tires day! Very exciting. Our supplier got the pattern orientation wrong on the jersey from our template, so we’re all getting a 2nd jersey for free. Kinda nice.

Good coffee is key.

1:50 ride followed by 2:15 hr nap. Lol.

I cannot take long naps. Feel like **** when I wake up, totally ruins the rest of my day. Even a 30 minute nap ruins my day.

I'm a 15-20 minute power nap guy. Siri wakes me up.

Went to Academy Sports and procured a long sleeve shirt as a base layer - $19.99. That brings my bike spending to about $150 so far for the year. Before that, I had some rigatoni, meatballs with marinara sauce. When we got home had a lemon frosted cupcake we got for free with a coupon.

#spendthrift

Goal accomplishment news:2 hour nap complete with drool on pillow.

#iamanembarrassment

Mrs. rjones28 bought serious running tights yesterday. Dinner did not upset my tummy.

Correct.

Now I just want to eat and go back to sleep, doggie curled up at my feet.

Is game 4 on later?

Coffee. Possibly more useful after a nap than first thing in the morning.

It will ruin my night if consumed after noon, sadly.

I just found out we're falling back tonight. Not that it makes any difference to me/

But it has caffeine, right? That's the problem.

A Coke is OK.

Tomorrow I will get on the bike, for more than an hour. No indigestion allowed(which I believe was more stress than physical). No chance of rain, or even humidity of consequence, and we haven't surpassed 82A in almost a week. Looking forward to it. Planning on taking the orange bike, it being Halloween time and all. The tires aren't as nice, but it has tire savers on it.

Expecting heavy rain tomorrow. Hour + outdoor riding unlikely. :o

Speaking of which, it's gonna be a struggle to stay awake til 9. Didn't make it last night either. Life without tv.

Coke has caffein. Instant coffee doesn't have nearly the kick of brewed coffee. Give it a try someday that it doesn't matter. New years eve, for example, Right around the corner.
