1928 Tour

A cool film about some guys that took on the 1928 Tour route with Fixed Gear. Check out 'LE RIDE' film screenings across the country on November 9

Thanks!

It is an excellent film. The reason for the big distances is that they rode, as much as possible, the original route in the same number of days as the 1928 Tour.

I'm waiting for it to come out on DVD.

Another interesting film showing how hard racing was is A Sunday in Hell, about the Paris Roubaix race in the 1970s.

Authentic? How authentic can it be when you aren't even carrying your spare tires wrapped on your shoulders?

Actually, just kidding. Looks pretty brutal.
