Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It is also plural and confusing. Just use their name "user1" and issue resolved. Capishe?

I'll take the edge plane

Slow night in addiction.

Going to do a short ride tomorrow before the conference championship game. Our local football team the Kennesaw State University Owls will play Monmouth for the title and possibly a berth in the playoff. Not bad for a program that started in 2015.

I will have to ride in the morning since we need to get lunch before the 2 PM kick off. Probably upper 50's A when I ride but I am getting used to it and it is not bad. Losing fitness since I can't get as much riding in and the cool temps just make it harder to dial up the wattage.

Wow, I haven't glanced in here in a while, and two pages back was talk of the Browns and Lotus forks. Like old home days. I thought i could throw in a shot of my '86 Prestige's fork, but alas, it is safely stored in the shed.

Hope everyone is well. Jonesy, I was in Syracuse last weekend, and almost stopped by your shop. You still working there?

And in other tidbits of weird, we hired a handyman midweek, and he showed up wearing a very nice Tennessee Volunteers jacket. It made me think of someone.

Just yesterday, someone in the Greater 41 was asking about riding in the Finger Lakes region. That made me think of someone.

I'm still there. On winter schedule now, so I just stop in to do the books once a week and cover the full-timer here and there.

How's the Southern Tier?

Heh. Guess she just forgot to mark them down. She's a bit spacey. And it doesn't help that she's constantly checking her personal phone for texts and whatnot. She can't go the bathroom without her phone in hand.

I am going to say something, especially since, as a practical matter, it will have no effect. We can carry over only 10 days. No way I am going to take even 4 days between now and the end of the year. So whether I am shown as having 14 or 24 doesn't make a difference.
