I did some searching and discovered that one such appeal has been "neutralized" until they collect funds to cover shipping and duties costs. So I did a bit more searching, and it seems there are a number of avenues for donating equipment as well as kit - there may even be something local. So it occurs to me that maybe the guys at the shop here in town can help with this. I don't imagine they have the resources to collect and distribute donations, but maybe they know who does - I'll ask them.

I have enough to make me waste time before a ride trying to figure out which one to toss on.. If I had less I'd ride more and spend less time being undecisive

I probably have about twenty, using only about five of my favorites in the rotation.
If I don't wear a jersey for a year or two, I put them into a separate pile for donation.
(My local group donates to Mexican cyclists. I live about half an hour from the border.
And most of these cyclists are not unemployed. They hold jobs, support families,
but just can't afford to spend any money on cycling clothing.)

I wonder if you will fit into both. I thought that rapha pro team collection runs smaller than their other lines.

One is a superthin white Enduro jersey good for hot Texas rides, one is one of those Trek Suggino "racing" jerseys.

Heh, I’ve added 3 more craft beer jerseys recently that I don’t need in the slightest, but I really liked the design (and the beer).

I’m sitting at around 15 jerseys, but some of them are from a few years ago and are too big for me now so I don’t wear them.

I'm at 10 - for now.

I resisted cycling attire for far too long, but eventually discovered that it made recreational road riding far more pleasant. Last summer, I realized that I prefer aero jerseys with short sleeves, and have 4 in the summer rotation. Club cut jerseys now get used with a long sleeve baselayer for spring/fall. One of my very first jerseys, which looks much like a normal tank top, has been repurposed for summer utility rides, swimming, and doing things around the yard (thank you back pockets).

I'll probably pick up a few more this season, such as a shop jersey for shop rides.

2 ancient short sleeve jerseys with longer sleeves (spring and fall, good with arm warmers)
2 newer short sleeve jerseys that breath well and have short sleeves and fit well (summer)
1 old long sleeve jersey that isn't warm
1 new Castelli Sfida that is perfect for CA winter down to 40 with a base layer or wind breaker

I have several base layers: a long sleeve thin polypropylene thing from REI, Nike Drifit long sleeve and Under Armour cold weather. These last two have neck covering. I also wear this stuff for hiking.

Where did you get the wool jerseys? Can *you* wear them year-round? I'm in Phoenix and I just bought my second pair of Smartwool socks because I wore my first pair even during the summer and I now have cycling sandals so wool will be necessary until about March. I'm wondering about wool jerseys though especially with bib shorts. Is that going to be breathable enough?

You're right, the brevet is looser fit than the pro team. Also, despite both being in the lightweight category, the brevet is both thicker and heavier. The hi-viz reflective strips aren't very comfortable on my back also, though that was just a quick test and I hope wearing a base layer underneath will solve that issue.

A quick count turned up 19, but I may have missed a few.

The shirts are designed to fit and lay differently due to the inherent different motions and needs of each activity.

I can wear the Ibex one when it is in the mid 60's or cooler. My Ibex jersey is really soft wool and so I can wear it without a base layer. My really old wool jersey is too scratchy for that and I need a base layer so it has to be a bit cooler.

Wool does wick moisture really well.

Just rifled through and counted. Including lined/long sleeve, but not vests or jackets/windbreakers... 24. I was surprised myself. Of the 24, four are seldom worn (not full zip,) two are now too big, and 4 of them have effectively zero SPF, so that brings down to 14. Take away the windproof and lined and I have 10. Of those, 7-8 of them are the "regular rotation."

I can't help it. I see an $15 jersey on eBay, I end up buying it. They last ages. I wear out (usually) one pair of bibs a year. I never even get attached to those.
