ITM Handlebars?

Hello all,

Anyone have experience with the ITM brand of cycling products?

Seems to be a well-established Italian manufacturer with some history. I just never really heard about them lately.

I am specifically looking at their lightweight carbon fiber handlebars that Ribble sells: https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/itm-a...ars/#pid=29537

Thanks! :thumb:

I have the KSword and the Pathom 2. Great handlebars.

Yeah, Italmanubri (ITM) was one of the Italian greats, but that original iteration of the company shuttered and liquidated in ‘08. The brand is now owned by a Taiwan company.

The don’t have much presence in the USA market; I haven’t seen the brand in years.

Hmm good to know.

Their recent products seem well reviewed, but I guess nothing is what it used to be necessarily.

Yes. I have the 101 group on one bike and the Millennium (carbon) group on another. The 101 I bought directly from ITM. The Millenium stuff can still be had on ebay. I also have a few pieces of the 4-Ever stuff. It used to come stock on Bianchi bikes. Quality Italian stuff but as mentioned, Asia now makes it.
Cheers

I didn’t mean to suggest there might be lesser quality; you probably know that all the best manufacturing tech for bike stuff is in Taiwan. In fact, even had ITM not closed, it’s likely their manufacturing would have shifted to Taiwan anyway.

I have used ITM products before without issue. No complaints here.

I have used both the classic Italian and the rebooted Taiwanese stuff. All good quality.
