Seriously though, is there a brand that has a pad design that hides your manhood the best?
I picked up a pair of PI bibs and the pad design gives it a camel toe when worn. Then I looked online and some say PI are more prone to that. Is that true? Do other brands do this better?
Anyone with Rapha Core bibs that can review it in that department?
I'm not that self-conscious but it does look a bit ridiculous especially when walking my bike around busy streets so I may return these and get another.
do the straps cut into your shoulders?

Not something I've thought about. I'm more interested in their ability to keep everything in place.
Don't like one of the twins slipping to one side and getting pinched between the saddle nose and my leg.

Rapha tends to 'excentuate' that region. No brand I've ever used provided a good fit in the region as well as Assos, especially their current S7 Equipe line.

If anybody wonders about the thread title change, it’s to cut down on the jokes.

Check out Carhartt bibs. Very discrete.

Given what they cost they sure better make things look bigger.
Again its been said but bibs should be bought on how they fit on the bike. If you're modest stick running shorts in your jersey pocket and slip them on when you're off the bike.

I got to be more self-conscious wearing over shorts generally, but if I'm driving to an event or race, I'll put on some shorts whenever I have occasion to put on street shoes.

Rapha is expensive at full retail but only a putz pays retail.
Core bibs were $85 on their sale page. They have thermal bib tights for $87.50 and jerseys for $38 on their sale page right now.
Never pay retail.

If you have a true cycling physique, people are probably looking more at your pencil neck and lack of upper body muscle. Maybe you should keep the bulge to enhance your manliness image. Also, no fluffing before the ride. (If that joke is not acceptable, then delete it by all means)
Jokes aside, you could ride with a jockstrap under your bibs. That will make the package more compact and snug against the body.

I have the opposite problem. My guads/upper legs are about 27" each where they connect to the "crotchial" region. They dominate the landscape. I always look like I just took a swim in freezing water. But, I look good in cycling shorts. The Lord giveth, and he taketh away.

ride more. you'll get over it.
(for the record, I like my Castelli and Craft bibs. Assos has a 'pocket' so that's either a plus or a minus)
