Thoughts on bib size

Looking at switching over from shorts to bibs. However I am a little confused about size. Unfortunately the LBS doesn’t carry the brand I am looking at. Looking at Giodarno FR-c bibs, but they are only sized by waist which seems odd. I am 6’3”, 210 pounds and have a 36” waist. According to the chart I could go either way, but before pulling the trigger looking for first hand feedback.

Thanks!

I wouldn't buy without trying first when it comes to bibs, that being said, I'm 5'7" 140lbs, I have like no size advice for you...

Fortunately for you, I am 6'2", 218 lb and have a 38" waist and the XL Giordana Forma reds (a couple years old now) fit me just fine. I like plenty of compression and they're nice and snug on me. They're my favorite bibs.

I would probably go XL if I were you unless you want to squeeze into the next lower size, but since the next lower size is 32-36 it might be too much squeezing.

Thanks! 210 is the lean side for me so will go with the xl in confidence
