What's your favorite bib shorts?
For years I’ve tried dozens of brands from Pearl Izumi, Giordana, Mavic, Fi’zi:k, and Assos. I fell in love with the Assos four years ago and have been using them until this year for some reason they changed the design. I’m not sure what drove them to change their best-selling bib short but in my opinion they’re terrible.
Searching for a new brand I recently discovered the Castelli Premio Bib Short. These shorts are incredible and I plan to keep using them unless they follow Assos culture to change a good thing. So what’s your favorite? Harumph |

I'd have to go with dhb. Incredible amount of value for what you get.

Pretty happy with Castelli Team bibs, just make sure you get the upgraded pad.

I've tried most of them over the past 40 years. The ones that fit best for me are Assos. Have to wait for sales to afford them though.

Velocio Fly Bibs, for sure. They fit like a dream, last forever and make bathroom breaks a breeze.

Rapha Classic II. Very luxurious material and stitching. Best (cytech) pad I've ever had the pleasure of riding.
|
Voler, Black Label, very comfortable for me. I've done 200 miles in day without issue.

I do love my Assos! I also must hit the sales, so I don't get then too often. In a class of their own AFAIAC.

Assos, the new design with the golden gate..I don’t find a difference in comfort either way, but they are by far the best quality and comfort. I’ll pay sticker price all daylong.
