PSA: Yak wool socks deal

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

PSA: Yak wool socks deal

These (amazon link) are my favorite socks. They're crazy warm, but never too much, and soft like cashmere. They fit under road shoes (Shimano SH-R171W anyway) although they're a bit thick, and more useful off the bike when it's cold. I just stocked up on a couple more pairs for summer backpacking, and noticed they're on sale.

I love the size chart - it converts shoe size to sock size and then the sizes available are S,M, L etc... and the seller mentions something about measuring your bare feet with absolutely no mention of how that relates to S, M, L.

Amazon. SMH.

I got mine in the same size I order SmartWool and other socks. Fit is about the same, maybe half a size small.

I typically use defeet wool socks year round (got some wooly booly pair if it gets super extra cold, like 45 degrees, LOL)... are the yak socks still comfortable in warmer weather?

I converted to wool socks a few years ago for riding and hiking, don't see ever going back.

You live in the same SoCal as me, buddy-- the days I think it's cold enough for Woolie Boolies I end up with soaked feet. The wool of the yak is not for us. SmartWool or wool Sockguy is as thick as we need.

Also, any review where a guy says the XXL ran small is a dealbreaker for me.

This, +1, and the shoe sizes skip past some sizes, mine in particular.
