Best frame deal ~$500

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Best frame deal ~$500

Looking to buy a frame/fork set to begin my new bike build. On a reasonably tight budget, and would like to keep the frame cost under $500. So what's the best deal out there? I need a 53/54cm or size M in a compact.

type 53cm or 54cm into ebay.

you used to be able to buy specialized s-works road frames for about $425 or $450 on there. They are great.

Not knowing a thing about what you are looking for or the type of riding you do, I'd take a serious look at this:

Leader just released their 2005 frame line and the 736 looks like a fairly good race frame. It is under 3 lbs(56cm) and is made of aluminum. They are a relatively young company and do all their sales on Ebay, oh and I think they're failr good looking frame for the $300 you can nab them for. Plus they have a good warranty.
