Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Plus I'm easily much faster, able to make singles into doubles and doubles into triples. Stay tuned, this should be exciting.

Just back from Wegman's. I did notice Mexican Coke in a glass 12 oz. bottle for $1.29, so I bought one.

I wonder how much it costs in Mexico. Seeds??

Mrs. datlas usually wears contacts but sometimes uses her glasses. She broke her glasses today, somehow the tiny screw at the hinge came out and is gone.

I offered to do a quick/dirty fix for her, and went down to the garage, took a short section of stiff wire, threaded it through the hole, twisted it with a pair of needle nose pliers, and trimmed it with my cable cutter tool.

I handed it back to her and said, with my best GCN presenter British accent, "Hack or Bodge??"

She did not appreciate the humour but is happy to have a wearable pair of glasses.

So this Mexican Coke delicacy I bought, I imagine it's best served chilled?

If only you'd managed to use a zip tie somehow... Hack!

Although we prefer beer after the ballgames, a little apple pie is always welcome.

Much less, Certainly no more than $.50 and probly less. I don't use the stuff though, so I'll check. I could be off.
