At one point, the tide was coming in and there was a big pile of rock blocking the upper beach so I walked around on the part of the beach where the waves were rolling in. Mr H went over the rocks carrying Doglet and Puppy Love followed me. She got distracted, was looking at Mr H on the rocks and not looking at the water. Just then a wave rolled in and soaked her, washed over her shoulders. She got a little panicky, I was standing right near her telling her she was fine. The wave rolled back and she took off like a rocket, running around in circles, I guess to warm herself up. Or maybe just happy to have survived lol.
She really really wants to catch a bird. Was chasing a pigeon today and it flew up and landed on the cliff face. Before we could stop her, Puppy Love scrambled 6 feet up the cliff, Mr H had to pluck her off a 4 inch wide ledge. She was still rarin to go though, pretty disappointed we pulled her back.

GTFO is what happened to me 1986 after 8 yrs marriage. She decided she liked woman better. Oh well.
but no matter the cause, the pain is unimaginable. I was a first year surgical resident. The stress of that plus residency was just about enough to do me in. I understood for the first time that I was capabable if anything, that headline news could apply to me. Very humbling and sad. Good luck. Keep riding no matter how down. It was my salvation.

I figured that I'd do the Strava Premium thing for the additional power data, goal setting, etc. I set a modest mileage goal for the year and Strava tells me that I'm 769 miles behind schedule.
