Hypothetical about stem, bar, seat post.
If price was not an issue what Bar, Stem, seat post combo. Pics appreciated.
|
Hypothetically, the Fizik model year 2022 carbon seatpost and stem, and the year 2027 model 3T ergonova.

Does ENVE have cool seat posts? Their bars and stems are pretty cool.
Otherwise, I like what 3T has to offer - solid options for all three items. |
Cervelo AB04 bar
3T ARX stem Whatever carbon seatpost works; all my bikes forever have needed a proprietary one. Forced to make everything match, ENVE. |

Ritchey WCS seatpost because its light for aluminum and has a good attachment system. Kalloy Uno 7 stem because its light for aluminum and inexpensive. The decals come off in 15sec too, so its just a nice black stem. Even if price wasnt an issue, this is my setup. It matches the setup i have for the frame i am building. I dont need to chase grams past what my setup is. |
So not money. But is weight an issue or not?

I have a beautiful crumpton cf frame I bought used this year to replace crashed Merlin cf/ti lunaris I bought 2003. Stupidly I chose dade seatpost aluminum and Ritchie alum bars and stem. It bugs me to see allow on this masterpiece so all out for looks feel and comfort in CF.

I like the shape of Fizik Snake handlebars. I prefer the R3, aluminium version. I would get the R1 stem and seat post for the matchy-matchy factor and because they look good and function well.

I read the enve seatpost is a loyal Pain in the ass.
I just reviewed the seatpost videos on the ENVE site. The one bolt version was the easiest to setup. With the two bolt version you just had to ensure that the front wedge was tightened to spec. I have a full ENVE cockpit on three bikes. |

240g $327 https://farm1.staticflickr.com/871/4...8c1de75b_o.jpg 123g $265 https://farm1.staticflickr.com/886/4...95a5a169_o.jpg 170g $265 $155 in total new for 578g. Contrast with $857 total on the zipp for 533g. 1.6oz saved costing $700 more. I get that this is a 'ignore the $' thread and style is paramount in some instances, but dang. That zipp seatpost is cool looking for sure though. |

$155 in total new for 578g. Your setup is a very good deal, but the OP did ask about getting a good deal. |
Extralite HyperStem - 100 mm/80 grams/$210.
I installed the stealth version onto an ENVE SES Aero road bar today. The equivalent ENVE stem is 50% heavier. I also found the ENVE two bolt seatpost to be somewhat tedious to set up. The design relies on two tiny o-rings. This is my first time using ENVE components and so far I am not terribly impressed. -Tim- |

Hopefully one day I will know the answer to that |

Hopefully one day I will know the answer to that Personally I wouldn't trust lightweight, cheap, no name chinese components where the cost of failure is very high. More than likely they will hold up, but if they don't!!! |

My cost-is-no-object choice would be to go integrated with custom Berk Composites SRP bar/stem combo, and a Kent Eriksen Ti seatpost.
If separate bits are required, make it a Schmolke EVO TLO bar and Deda Superleggero stem painted to match frame. |
