Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm just happy Froome won't be winning. I don't know how I feel about his "inhaler doping" thing, I'm just tired of him winning. Sadly, it's still Sky that will most likely be taking home the palmares.

While I have no hatred for Chris Froome, I was rooting hard for Primoz Roglic.

I have been pretty sold on Dumoulin since his Giro win.

No matter how it ended .... that was a great stage. And no matter who wears yellow in Paris, this has been a heck of a Tour.

But...but....don't you think he will leapfrog into first place on the time trial??

Tom Dumoulin is the WC in the TT, so I doubt Froome leapfrogs into 2nd place(without a mechanical/wreck).

That would be unbelievably annoying. Unlike other recent GC challengers to Froome's crown (Quintana, Bardet, Valverde), TD is a great TT'er. Thank goodness.

Forgive my ignance, but is today’s stage critical or do we already know who’s going to be the winner as usual?

It's important if you want to watch a bicycle parade, or see who wins the final sprint.

Team Asthma wins again.

Even when he's on a TT bike, I have a hard time watching Chris Froome pedal a bike. Obviously, if it made me faster, I would gladly pedal that way, but I'm stuck with a more normal riding style, and am happy to finish a race with the pack.

I may have napped through some of the good parts.

Stage 19 descent was not a Bike Parade by any means, though.
