Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Front wheels are pretty standard for road bikes, so you can probably find something on a local craigslist for $10 or so. Just make sure the size is 700 and not 27 inches.

You could also consider having your local bike shop see if they can true the wheel you have, labor cost for that is typically $15.

It should be 700x23, almost any spare wheel will fit it.
