I'm checking in to see how many people have the same issue -- and how many might have fixed theirs.

I have a Garmin Edge 820 that has worked great with Strava Live Segments for a long time. Two weeks ago, for no apparent reason, the Strava Live Segments stopped working. I've done all the troubleshooting. I've gone through all of Garmin's troubleshooting with one of their Support staff. But, at the end of the day, the Support guy punted. He said that I'm not the only one with the same problem and that Garmin is working on the issue. When they find a solution, they will either send a software update or will contact me with the solution for me to implement. It's been a week -- no solution yet.

Does anyone else here have the same recent issue? How common is this? Any idea what the cause might have been? Have you found a solution?

I talked with Garmin again yesterday. Still no solution. They say the problem is widespread. Does anyone else here have the same issue?

I have the same issue. I also can't activate my emergency contacts on the Garmin Connect App... this is just normal operating for Garmin... new software fix 2 things, break 5 more...

Without Garmin's help, I fixed mine yesterday. I wrote down all my key settings, then did a full "device reset" --> "factory reset." Once I had input all my settings and restored my starred segments from Strava, the device worked perfectly. Mine is fully functional again.

I'm surprised Garmin didn't suggest doing this. Are they afraid people will become angry when told to do a complete wipe of their device?
