Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cx frame suggestion?

Hello! I want to purchase a cross frame to get into this discipline (amateur level, for now I don't race) and I would like to know if there are any good carbon frames taking planetx as a reference point? I put PlanetX are a reference point because those frames are dirt cheap and I only heard good things about them. Since they're starting to have less and less options for my tastes, I'd like to know if there is any other brand that can rival PX in both price and quality?
I would also like to point out the notorious £377 price from PlanetX.
Also, would you recommend carbon or aluminum for CX? How's carbon doing with trail debris? e.g. small rocks, gravel, twigs, and so on..
If aluminum would be a better choice in that price range, what do options do you suggest?

Thanks!

If you are just starting buy a complete aluminum disc bike preferably with thru axles and race that.
