Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Need help packing my new supergo case.

I just bought the supergo case at $189.00 on their website. I am going back to London thursday and wanted the bike to be safe.

Anyway, i am struggling to pack it well - the super go case comes with 2 layers of foam and a har dplastic cover that goes over the wheels.

The wheels are where i am having my problem - i have taken out the stems and took out some pressure from the tires, but the wheels keep tilting either side and the front wheel is putting pressure on the spokes of the rear and visa versa.

The instructions are not that good, and i was wondering if anyone knows how to combat the problem i am having right now with the wheels. The rest of the bike is fine, it's just that the frame rests above the wheels (granted with some foam, but i think that i am doing somthing wrong).

I don't wanna get the lbs to do it for me - they want $40

Josh.

Did you take the skewers out of the wheels? If not do that and try again. You will also have to take your pedals off I believe.

The rear wheel has a pronounced dish. Nest the wheels such that the dish or cassette side is where the two wheels overlap in the case. You may have to flip around the rear wheel from your current position.
