Calling all Elite Direto users

I use the Direto smart trainer with Zwift along with Apple TV. Recently, I have had to use a cog or two easier gear to get the same w/kg. Also, a 1% incline feels like 5 or 6% use to. I wrote Elite and I do have it calibrated correctly. I wrote Zwift about it and they said that after the introduction of the Innsbruck route, they have been receiving similar complaints from Direto users. Said that I would be unable to send them files due to something specific to the Apple TV (Im not very tech savvy and don't understand a lot of what they wrote about that). They talked about a work around provided I had another way to get the game going and then they could take a look at the files but I have no other way to play the game and get them new files to evaluate. They said if not, no worries, they would be looking at other Direto users with the same issue and work towards a fix. Any other Direto users have the same problem? Really takes a lot more effort to get the same results. Thanks!

Sorry I don't have a direct answer to your question, but recommend you try asking on the Direto group on Facebook. It's pretty active, and monitored by Elite. Hope you find a solution.

I have a direto too, but haven't used it with Zwift since spring and suspending my Zwift account. I'll be heading back to Zwift in a month or so when the weather starts to get crappy.

I don't do Facebook so that won't be an option for me but thanks for the heads up on that.

Now my heart rate strap won't pair (new battery so that is not it). The day before it cut 10 min. off my total time (which made me look crazy fast but no, I'm not that fast and yesterday, it recorded the ride but the time at zero. Also would not let me join an activity. In their initial response, they suggested i ride in native power of the trainer. I don't know they would think that would be acceptable to ride in native power while watching myself sitting beside the danged road. I wrote back to their initial reply and have gotten nothing further from them. I wrote them again this morning. I just want to know about when this will be fixed. I hate to think I have a $900 trainer that won't communicate with Zwift correctly.

Are you able to use Zwift with another device - even an iPhone, to simply see how that reacts. I'm thinking the issue isn't with your trainer, or Zwift, but with AppleTV. Is the AppleTV on the latest firmware and Zwift update?

If you can at least isolate the AppleTV from the equation, then you can move forward in your fault identification.

i cant use my phone because I can’t get the app on my tv. I am in the process of doing a software update on the Apple TV so we’ll see what effect that has. Does Zwift also need a software update? I clicked the link you included but it only took me to their support page. Thanks for your help!
