Kickr Climb, opinions, options, custom workouts.
I'm debating on buying a Kickr Climb to go with my Kickr Core.
I haven't used any of the virtual training sites, but I will probably try Zwift & Trainer Road.
My primary interest with these two devices is hill training indoors during winter months.
For those who have the Climb, what are the pros & cons?
Which app do you use?
Is there an ability to create a custom hill climb (i.e. copy the profile of a TdF climb)?
Do you find this to be a worthwhile addition to your Kickr?
I already know that it's overpriced, and that my $599 could be spent elsewhere, but that could be said for most cycling products.
Thanks

I've had the Kickr Climb since it first came out. I was waiting on it to be available for quite awhile.
I spend a large amount of time on Zwift, due to the nature of my job and travel, so I personally felt it was a nice to have addition.
I really like the interaction with the virtual environment. I don't think it'll make a huge difference in the overall training aspect by that big a margin though.
Whether it's worth the money is a loaded question, since everyone's version of expensive can vary quite a bit.

Don't worry about the virtual climbs and virtual grade.
Focus on the watts and your weight instead. >3 watts/kg for 40 min will get you through most tough climbs in real world. >3.5 watts/kg for 20 min will get you through very steep grades.
