Strava Selfies - Don't be That Guy
Yeah, don't be that guy, or gal.
Selfie with a dead deer? Really? Our hearts go out to the poor thing but I can't believe you attached a selfie with the carcass and puddle of blood. The visual really wasn't needed. Just call the sanitation department and they will take care of it.
Triathletes post the sweaty, post workout selfie every single time. You had a great workout. We get it. Please at least shave.
The demure female triathletes selfies - you are a very attractive woman but none of us really think you aren't posing in a sports bra on purpose. I find it interesting how the contents of the trunk of your car changes over time though.
Posing with your flat tire or broken chain. I'd love to see the mountain range in the background but your head is taking up the whole photo. I guess cyclists are generally narcissistic.
And nobody really cares what you had for lunch. Mayonnaise is gross anyway.
Just felt like saying that.

So, you are number 68...!
Well... we all have these digital cameras now, and people have to make shocking pictures nobody in the world has ever seen before.

I've never done a selfie, much less a selfie on Strava. But the next time I come across a dead deer wearing a sports bra . . .

I presume that these are folks that you follow.
You could change that, or comment to them directly....
Here's my roadkill contribution (I moved it out of the road)

on the Tour de donut someone carried an extra donut out and laid it next to the roadkill coon.
It was honestly the best strava picture of the day from the 1,000's of strava post of the ride.

That you look at the photos so closely to begin with suggests an interest.
People that aren't interested won't give more than a cursory glance in the first place as they scroll on by, and they certainly won't go start a thread about it.
So what is it about these photos that draws you in to such an extent?

Some dude named Tim who I follow. Lots of bike photos, a few selfies, some food shots. He's in the Atlanta area, strangely. You guys know each other?

Besides, there is a fixed gear bike in the background. If people want to do an ongoing "This is my post ride meal" Strava theme then that's fine but at least put a bike in the background.
Actually, the guy who runs the coffee shop also rides and sells really nice jerseys.
Shameless plug.
