Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Good times.
This is the notion that gives me confidence to tackle many DIY home-improvement projects. I figured, if the contractor can do it stoned, then I should be able to do it sober.

My friend Sandy took Uber into town to meet me for lunch. My name is David. The Uber driver's name was Sandy David Ortiz. No lie. I played the Mega Millions for tonight.

I'm no Tennessee

Stud Camel.
For those keeping track, I consumed 144 oz of water over the course of 45 easy, flat miles. 86*A/43% humidity. I returned home significantly hungrier than expected, but not thirsty. I stopped to pee once--one more time than I ever do during a bike ride.

Hope you’re getting some sodium with all that.

That can't possibly make up for the loss of easy incorporation.

I haven't needed to incorporate anything in a while.

I haven’t been following the water consumption conversation but for what it’s worth, I rode 90 min on the trainer this morning. My toes got cold but I didn’t drink anything.

I don't think I can drink 144 ounces of water in a day let alone a 45 mile ride in 86A temperatures. That's a lot of water.

Note:
I am feeling hassled by people getting nosy about the awesome shovel. Might have to increase the frequency of changes in location.

I wound up putting new plugs in the minivan. Drank 2 pints of water, 12oz beer, approximately 10 oz Mexican Coke.

But I am still thirsty...

Sorry. When I was an undergrad summer intern, I used to cut the heads off 30 innocent live rats a day and take their little brains out. I am going to rat hell.
