But the specifics are really his intellectual property not mine. So it’s not a huge secret, just not something it’s rght to discuss in an open forum.

Earlier this morning I caught our admin vaping as she was coming out of one of the copy/printer rooms. She tried to hide it under her coat but she wasn't quick enough.

Vain, But Lacking Talent
We are back home in Houston after our New Year's eatathon in the city of our birth, NOLA. The diet resumes. Actually not a whole lot of damage done. Stayed active while we were there and gorged sensibly.
I will relate that Lilette restaurant on Magazine has become a favorite. A real, old time Frenchy bistro in a very pretty room. Outstanding steak frites based on a hanger steak that has just the perfect amount of texture for a satisfying chew and wonderful flavor.
One thing to like about NOLA is that essentially every restaurant will cork your own wine for you. The cost for corkage ranges from zilch to absurd, but it is usually a good deal. Contrast that to Houston where corkage is unknown except in a very few places that don't have liquor licenses. I think here in Texas it is the law. Either the liquor license or BYOB, but you can't have both. That is really a shame.

Vain, But Lacking Talent
Speaking of training with video games, I did a thing again last night.
I did happen upon a great trick to get me to concentrate on HR and cadence rather than speed. I put everything in metric so I actually don't know how fast/slow I'm going. As a result, I was able to keep my HR in check much better up until the climbing portion.

I still don't understand how people could possibly think vaping is any safer. You're using a metal heating element to heat a liquid. You have no idea what sort of nasty stuff if getting into the "vapor" and it's probably a lot worse than we even know just yet.

Whatever Coach schedules. We have a spreadsheet of maybe 50 potential workouts, some of them are multiple variations of the same theme. He sends you different workouts for the week depending on where you are in your annual training cycle and how things have been going, how much available time you have, what kind of things you enjoy etc.

My bet is vaping is safer than smoking because there are no particles to stay in the lung for the rest of ones' life and cause damage, but what do I know?

Safe or not, I wish I was employed by Juul at the time of Altria's investment last month. Apparently each of the ~1,200 employees got a 1.2 million dollar bonus...

I'm not sure what the TSS of pulling down Christmas stuff is, but it is outdoors, and there is real mileage involved.

Sad. I keep finding patients smoking in the underground garage where I park my bike and telling them to stop. I actually think there's a negative pressure smoking room somewhere in the building.
My bet is vaping is safer than smoking because there are no particles to stay in the lung for the rest of ones' life and cause damage, but what do I know?

Graveyard Cars, Gas Monkey Garage, Texas Metal, etc..... Velocity/Motor Trend TV has tons of stuff to trainer to. Food Network is also a good un'. Guilty pleasure would be Million Dollar Listings and Vanderpump Rules. Do people really live like that?

It's a long day's drive but if I leave now, I could be there in time for breakfast and ready to work.

Books from Audible—classic novels and history/biography. Podcasts are my guilty pleasure. I especially need to restrict my intake of politics these days.
