Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah, we’ll get some breeze on the backside, but just a little rain.

So, I can attest that the clear Gorilla (Go-rilla, to our friends in the South) tape is the very dog’s bollocks for tubelessness, at least as far as ease of application is concerned. Of course, I jabbed myself rather spectacularly with a utility knife in the process of scoring the roll for a 20mm strip, but that’s on me.

We don't have bomb cyclones, but we do have Alberta clippers. It's when a cold blast of air blows in from that direction.

According to the nets, bombogenisis is a pressure change event not a temperature change event though I suppose the two could happen simultaneously. We will not be expecting cold than normal temps with this.

Exactly. It refers to a rapidly strengthening low. This thing is at about 996 mb and is predicted to go to the low 970s within 18 hours. It’ll suck in plenty of cold air as it passes, but that’s not what it’s about.

yes bananas are the bees knees. Too bad I don't like them. Way cheaper as well.

Regarding naps; I attribute some of my awesomeness to strategic napping. Do what you wish with that nugget of information.
