Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'll put the latest out there I guess. Mid 90s Giordana Xl Super, 17 lbs 14 ozs as in the first pic. Sporting Campagnolo Record 10 speed and riding like magic on the road.

Swap the saddle/post, and the blue one will be scorching hot.

I’m not a fan of the ketchup and mustard paint scheme.

I reckon it gets away with the Elite, but it also needs that super slick threadless conversion headset one of our members came out with, and 31.8 bars.

The wheels, and chain are indexed incorrectly, the bar tape is dirty, but still burning hot.

This one misses the mark. While I can always appreciate classic iron, hot it's not.

The tri-paired rear spokes are in argument with the vintage frame as are the bold wheel logos. This bike needs all silver wheels with no logo. Then the staging is utterly abhorrent. If you are going to go to the trouble of the Olin Mills backdrop route, you need to knock the wrinkles out of the sheet. The elevated rear stand kills the lines of the bike. White bar tape has its place. Clean white bar tape that is.
