Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Di2 Sleeping?

My Emonda has been on trainer duty since November, so it is sparkling clean and hasn't seen a bumpy road or transport for months. I recently went down to ride it and found the electronics dead to the world, even though I charged the battery a few weeks back. It did not even register a low battery signal, just nothing. I went through and checked every connection on the j box, pulled the battery and reinserted it, and found nothing amiss. Hooked up to the computer, and it couldn't find the battery.

I resigned myself to take it into the shop. As I was walking it across the smooth floor, it woke up and lit up like a xmas tree. Full charge, everything working. Anyone have a sense as to what gives?

Sounds like it's punishing you for the trainer.

Could be a short in the battery. I would still take it in.
