Have I overpaid for my bike
I have bought a kuota kharma 2013 model with 105 groupsets for £700 and I'm wondering if this a good price everything on the bike is standard no scratches or marks on the bike and full carbon aero frame.

What’s it built up with? But ride it. If you like it then no.

Why you want to give it back , trade in, go down the price tiers ? lower range components and all that. ?

It all comes down to condition, condition, condition, fair price is the price the market will bear.
If you like the bike, it fits well, and is not worn out, than you got your good deal.
Best to research first though.

seems like this should be a permanent thread. i have a feeling a lot of people get a certain level of buyers remorse after you drop a chunk of change on a bike. i just put a deposit down on the most expensive bike i've ever owned. feel pretty good about it (really excited, actually), but its always nice when you feel like you got a good/fair deal.

A bike like that and that age might be worth $700 but not £700. So, yeah, you overpaid just a tad. But hey, ride it like you own it!

Bicycle Blue Book is a good place to find the MSRP for many bikes but maybe not so good for realistic sale prices. I doesn't list one for the 2013 Kharma 105 but has values for 2008-2010. https://www.bicyclebluebook.com/Sear...45&model=59011 Based on the ones shown it probably sold new in the US$2,500 range. One of the bike mags I've never read rated it Bike of the Year for 2013 https://www.bikeradar.com/us/road/ge...-evo-13-46964/.

In 1986 I dropped 750 dollars on a touring bike. Full boat price. According to some I paid too much. According to the smile on my face, nope. Paid the right price for the right bike. Still have it to this day and love it.

I had to replace a stolen bike a few years ago, and found a nice Bianchi S9 in my size. I definitely paid too much, as some of the parts needed to be replaced, and now I'm into it for more than its worth. But I really like the bike, so I guess it's a long termer.
