Definitely more engaging on a smart trainer. After 3 years on my Tacx Vortex I'm looking for the next smart trainer. Nothing really wrong with my Vortex, just feel its too loud esp when my kids want to play in the basement when I'm riding. Also, would be nice to know that the power numbers are more accurate. On that note, any smart trainer sales coming up?

The Kickr Core is mostly silent. The more expensive Kickr is also, and has a huge flywheel. On sale? Maybe now that the season is almost over in the northern hemisphere.

Well did Zwift few times, up to level 5. Whatever that means. So far I like it, and it does make work outs easier. Actually desire to go outside during a week is kind of low. lol I got the subscription. I guess I will finally put my NUC to it's intended use.
I had couple technical issues, but they were solved.
That being said the UI and companion app are kind of meh. Navigation is not super intuitive, and when I ran the app it drains the batter super fast.
Also was kind of surprised there is no ability to voice chat. Honestly from overall technology perspective and graphics it's like being back in 2000s. lol

Zwift - Buggy

It's buggier riding on Zwift than riding outside. Was on there for 6 months with the occasional ride. It's okay if it works, but finally got tired of sitting around in my kit waiting for the app to launch. Cancelled my subscription. See you guys outside...
