Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I need to come up with a project and a carrot or two, too, to hold me over until I leave on vacay.

This morning I was told that the rain would hold off until late at night. Now my bike is outside getting wet and I don't have a rain jacket with me. God damn the weather man!

I was looking at a current weather map of the western hemisphere, a few days ago, and Merida was the hottest city.

I' a big fan of pineapples and lately they've been decent. I bought one a few days ago and let it sit on the counter for a couple days ago and now have a couple gnats flying back and forth across y computer screen.

The pineapples in Equador and on the ship were the best I have ever eaten. Excellent bananas and tomatoes also.
