Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Jeez, I’ll say!

Phila sure has gone high rise since I last walked around downtown, but it’s still got a lot of sky and the feel of a small city. Clean too.

No, but I did hold forth in front of about 5000 extremely nerdy people.

I remember it mainly from about 1976-81. I think it's cleaner. I was also impressed with how much the Amtrak ROW has been cleaned up—even landscaped on some stretches—in the last few years.

Ouch for you. Ouch for the kitty.

The worst we have ever had is one extraction. Most of the time cleaning doesn't result in any teeth being pulled.

depends. on a) how much you are being paid to promote a particular sludge, or
b) how aweful it tastes and you are trying to disprove that, or
c) how narcissistic you are.

It's gotta be some multi-level marketing... I kind of want to look, just to know what kind of dumb we're talking about.

edit: just looked - yup, she's got a referral link in her profile to some nutrition company. I guess that answers that.

I see no enchiladas, Sonoran or otherwise. Marg in a plastic cup just says 'party time!' though.

They've gone upscale. They used to be served in red Solo cups.

Enchiladas should be here shortly
