I'm a punctual person. Count on me being there early. I cannot stand the current culture of lateness.
In other news, the Big $ For a Jersey thread could be fun.

And we'll still bill you for missing the original one. Our time is valuable even if yours isnt.

I finally got out of Dulles airport, and made it all the way to Dallas. 13 hours later. Back on the shuttle at 04:30. I could have made it all the way to Cancun tonight, but my bikes were already in Dallas and couldn't leave the country without me. So it goes. It's a good thing I will be buying no more forever.

The shuttle driver, from the airport, did a great Forrest Gump impersonation, listing all the things one could get at various places in the city.

Car battery is deader than dead. Think I left one of the inside lights on on Sunday. Assistance will be here within 1 hr. Good excuse to work in the city today.

It’s been a while, time for another update. I haven’t really been losing much weight since I started riding but I have been getting stronger and I think I’ve been losing some fat and gaining muscle. For the time being I’m okay with that. Once the temps start falling I will concentrate more on the weight loss. Right now I’m making sure I eat enough to ride bikes and I’m just enjoying myself.
Starting weight (10/21/18) - 295 lbs
Current weight (5/29/19) - 217 lbs
Goal weight - 195 lbs
My biggest goal was to get back on a bicycle which I have done. My first ride was on 3/23/19. On 4/13/19 I celebrated three weeks on the bike by riding 60 miles. Then on 5/25/19 I celebrated two months on the bike by riding 100 miles. So far I have ridden 1,102 miles since I started back.

Avalanche strands cyclists riding Going to the Sun Road:
https://kpax.com/news/flathead-count...he-speaks-out/
This time of year, much of the west side is open to bikes but not motor vehicles. Sometimes things go wrong. As the story points out, their mistake was not riding earlier in the day. Avalanche threat increases as the day warms up.

Excuse my French, but my effin' alternator is not charging the battery, which explains why my battery was dead. Damn thing needs to be towed to NJ. At least it's still under warranty (barely). This is the third major problem I have had with my Forester in less than 3 years and 7,500 miles. Yes. 7,500 miles.

My previous car, which was the first one I ever bought, had just over 108,000 miles on it when some D.B. kid hit it and totaled it while it was parked. It was just over 18 years old, and those miles were put on by three different drivers.
