Specialized Tarmac SL 5

A local shop has a couple of SL 5 Framesets for sale at $700. Seems like a pretty good deal for this frame. Does that seem l8ke a fair price?

Isn't that the most recent version of the Tarmac? Does it retail for $2500? If that's right, I want one. Maybe two.

it is the last get of the Tarmac frame. The current generation is the SL6

That is a difficult question to answer but yes and no. The framesets are all the same in the sense that they have the same geometry and are the same years. The layup of the carbon fiber is all different though and the higher the "r" number the stiffer and lighter the frame is going to be.
