Went tubeless...Mavic Ksyrium Elite UST

Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

Went tubeless...Mavic Ksyrium Elite UST

About a week ago I went to a tubeless rear wheel. Wasn't sure if I'd notice any difference but, based on a GCN video, it seemed worth a try. First, set up was stunningly easy. Pumped up in a heartbeat with my floor pump. Second, I've been out twice for a total of about 60 miles. I can't believe how easily it rolls. Incredibly smooth, fast and comfortable. So impressed I bought a front to make a wheelset. I wasn't expecting to like tubeless this much.

Nice. I recently went tubeless as well, fitting Mavic Yksion TL tires on an Ultegra 6800 wheelset. Replaced the valves with removable core ones I bought at REI, and used regular Orange Seal. The tires went in fairly easy, and seated with a floor pump. Im running 85psi on the back and 80lbs on the front. Like you, I have been pleasantly surprised with the improvement in ride comfort and decreased rolling resistance. In the last couple of weeks Ive completed a 50mile ride and a century with these wheels/tires and Im really enjoying the new setup.
