Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm surprised they didn't wanna check for a motor. Be sure to keep your car keys at hand.

Semi-retirement. Do it now and thank me later.

My wife dumped me and I'm trying not to blow my brains out. The cycling helps. Picked up a Santa Cruz dual boing mtb, so I ride more in the woods than I used to. Not as many miles, but I'm out there 5+ days weekly.

That's hilarious.

They'll do that if I actually make it to the front and start pushing the pace, but time isn't on my side.

I'm finally getting the '80 Trek 414 tuned up properly (dialed in, for the hipsters among you). It's quite a nice ride--not as nice as MoAlpha's mind you. It won't be perfect until it has aero levers on it, and I have nowhere locally to source them. It'll just have to be good enough.

WTF? More importantly, did Commander Cody get to come along with you?

Very sorry to hear about that, whoever the hell you are. Glad the cycling helps. Congratulations and thanks for this edifice of baboon grooming you started!
