Indoor trainer, fits Disc Brakes?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Indoor trainer, fits Disc Brakes?

Hi guys,

Quick question since the opinion seem to differ from a site to another... I have a TCR w/disc brakes, and I want to buy a TACX Vortex smart trainer for the winter.

I'm also buying a trainer tire and a quick release skewer to mount the bike. My questions are :

1) Do you know if it will work with my SLR wheels since I have disc brakes (a little wider than non-disc wheels)?
2) Will the QR skewer work with my hub? My thru axle's diameter seems to be a lot bigger than the QR sweker... Seems to me like I'll need an adaptor kit.

Thank you.

A little more detail would be helpful.

Type your trainer in to your search engine of choice and then add "Thru Axle Adapter." That's how I found one for my KKRM.
