OCP question: Lampre jersey

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

OCP question: Lampre jersey

In an effort to increase my OCP quotient, I have considered purchasing the Lampre-Caffita jersey, if only for the fact that it is blue to match my bike and happens to be sponsored by Cannondale. Does anybody know of any online shops in North America that is selling this? I googled it and only found shops located in the UK.

Oooouch...I think buying from the UK, even with shipping, may come out to less than that.

That's a nice thought.
And good of you to aspire to the OCP.
But I believe you at least have to old enought order a beer to OCP qualify.
Members: Can we have a ruling on this?

glad to see "OCP quotient" enter the lexicon.

Well, I'm not ocp but I have studied the phenomenon and even advised larval ocps like Robocheme. My feeling, as an OCP researcher, is that most suffer from Adult Onset OCP. Hmai, although too young to purchase malt beverages, might have an advanced form of OCP that manifests itself in the earlier years.

Bull.

The legal drinking age up here in the snowy north is 18. I've been legal for 2 years. And, come January, I'll be 21 so I'll be old enough to order the swill that you Americans call beer. Though why I would want to, I don't know...

Besides, you're never too old, or too young for OCP'ing

ooo... considering recent events in the ProTour, I would be hesitant to pose in the Lampre jersey (also as of today, looks like you might also stay away from T-Mobile). You instead might want to consider a CSC a la Zabriske, or a green Davitamon-Lotto, a la McEwen. Personally I went with a yellow Selle-Italia-Colombia (Rujano, et al.) and it has posed me well, during and since the Giro d'Italia.

The CSC jersey like Zabriskie!
Yes he has a certain charm befitting the Wheaties box.

Yeah, I've seen the Global jersey before and it was on my wishlist. However, I haven't been able to find it in my size (small / 34-36" chest). It's a b*tch trying to find a decent blue/white jersey in my size that's not going to cost me an arm and a leg.

I like this, but again, I have trouble finding it in my size at a price that's not outrageous. I may want to be OCP, but I still have tuition to pay and law school to think about paying for:

Ahah! There will be no talk of 'wishlists' at the OCP.
If we want it we go right out and buy it.
No dicusssion.

Well, if Performance had stocked smalls, I would have picked up one up with my last order from them. Unfortunately, they don't carry small ones, so I'm left wishing. If you'd care to dig one up for me, I'd be eternally grateful and send you a bouquet of blue roses or something.

OCP romantic, what a combination!

You realise to be fully OCP you need matching jersey, shorts, gloves, time trial booties, wind vest and arm and leg warmers?

I'm getting there. Besides, I've got the blue bike, two blue jerseys, black shorts and socks to match the black controls on my bike and silver Sidis to match the cranks and wheels. I'm waiting for an end of season sale so I can pick up a blue Bell Sweep to replace my Giro Animas.

we don't need no stinking sells in our OCP quest. We just buy it. It is a long hard road to becoming a full card carrying OCP member, we spare no expense at getting there the fastest way possible. BTW you don't need food or anything else this week, just buy the jersey and helmet.

I'm only in my early twenties; I have many years to develop a full-blown case of OCP.
